Position statement from Dr Sturrock: I believe that the key to human suffering is the perception that we are alone or somehow inherently different from others, and through connection and compassion we can grow to understand that we are all sharing of the human experience. I stand for the essential balance in life, as Jung quoted “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better take things as they come along with patience and equanimity.”
